NAME- Jay TIME ZONE- GMT + 12 OTHER CHARACTERS- none ANYTHING ELSE?- how's it going? ROLEPLAY SAMPLE(from another roleplay)
For George, it wasn’t hard to say life had gotten a heck of a lot easier ever since his visit to the hospital. After splinching himself, he’d learned from his mistake and kept his drinking to a minimum, not wanting to put himself in danger or worry his brother again. He and Hermione were getting along fairly well, giving George hope that they were going to make this marriage work, and in general, life was just that much better than it’d been before his recent breakdowns.
Unlike before, there was rarely a day George would spend lazing around the flat – he liked to get out and enjoy the days that came, not wanting to waste any precious time. That morning, he’d decided to exit the shop and wander down Diagon Alley, perhaps stopping in for a quite bite to eat and genuinely enjoying the day. Announcing his plans to Fred, George stepped out onto the cobblestone streets of the alley and began wandering, his hands deep in his pockets and giving a smile to all those who passed and made eye contact with him.
As he walked, he couldn’t help thinking about Katie – it felt like it’d been weeks since he’d seen her. He never wanted to shut her out and completely avoid her, but with work, his recent accident and his new relationship, it became hard to keep in contact. George couldn’t help feeling guilty, and feeling that he was to blame for their lack of contact, but he couldn’t spend time thinking over negative issues – he’d learned to control that.
If George hadn’t been so distracted by his thoughts, he would’ve seen the woman in question about to walk into him – but he didn’t. As they collided into one another, George let out a small grunt and subconsciously gripped the arm of the woman – who he hadn’t yet figured out was Katie – in an effort to prevent her from falling to the ground. Looking down, George finally realized it was Katie he’d bumped into, and a small smile tugged at his lips as he brushed himself off, his hand still on her arm.
“Hey,” he said, his voice almost a whisper. Merlin, it had been quite some time since he’d seen her. She didn’t look much different, but there was a certain air about her – an air of hurt lingering about her face, though barely noticeable. Realizing he was still gripping her arm, he quickly released it with a nervous laugh and shoved his hand into his pocket, scratching the back of his neck with the other. “Er, how have you been?”
